Potential to overcome one of the biggest career blockers; fear of public speaking

“Overcoming my own fear of public speaking was one of the most liberating breakthroughs in my career – hence why I devised this Pod experience to give others the best chance to conquer their fears too.” Michelle Johansen

When it comes to public speaking everyone has different terror points and combination of nerve related traits, however where we are all the same is our brains are being triggered into a fight, flight or freeze reaction. This Pod will work with tools and techniques to overcome the fear response.

The Pod will also give a supportive peer environment where members will get to practise speaking in front of each other before setting themselves challenges to speak to external groups. The Pod members will hold each other responsible to complete homework assignments, celebrate successes and provide a supportive environment to ensure there is no such thing as failure only learning.

The Pod will also look at techniques for getting your message heard at meetings, whether as a participant or chair.

“A book may give you excellent suggestions on how best to conduct yourself in the water, but sooner or later you must get wet …”  — Dale Carnegie
Accompanying you throughout the pod is Michelle Johansen, professional coach on a life-long journey of self-discovery.
